Refinery 29 Partners with Revlon

The fashion website is launching a new beauty initiative.

Style website Refinery29 has announced the launch of a new destination for beauty fans – Beauty Nation, which went “live” on April 15th, 2013. Refinery 29 has partnered with Revlon to launch the new community-driven platform.

Beauty Nation will be a place where consumers can discover ew products – plus, exchange tips with a curated group of beauty and style bloggers, as well as its own editorial experts.

The site has also launched a similar fashion platform called My Stylist, in partnership with T.J Maxx.

“There are endless conversations to be had around beauty, whether we’re talking about individual style or just the joy of finding the perfect concealer,” says R29 beauty director Annie Tomlin. “We wanted to create a destination that provides beauty advice and information tailored to our smart, savvy and stylish audience.”

The Beauty Nation experts will represent a global view of beauty from Sweden to New York, dispensing personal tips and trend reports with a unique point-of-view.

Tomlin continued, “From highlighting DIY hairstyles to identifying the best foods for your complexion, the stories of Beauty Nation will create a fresh forum for sharing, learning and getting the most out of your beauty routine.”
